The Edward and Eric end credits, as its purpose implies, always play at the end of an episode, although the version of the credits depend on where you're watching the show.

Description[]

On TV airings and box set DVDs, the end credits relate to any segment of two episodes, showing what happened during or after the episode.

VHSes and Compilation DVDs[]

However, VHSes and compilation DVDs make a notable exeption to the credits. The first version of Edward and Eric Closing Theme plays throughout the credits. The credits background shows rough, early sketches of several Edward and Eric characters. Typically, the first sketch shown in the credits depicts the main character of that particular episode (for example, Snake Zone's credits begin with a sketch of Joey).

Credits start playing after the last episode is over. Once the final episode is over, a credits compilation begins (a continual loop of the credits theme starts playing, the title for the first episode on the DVD/VHS is shown, the credits for that episode plays, the title for the next episode is shown, the credits for that episode plays, and so on).

However, on credits for VHSes and DVDs released before Misadventures in the West, this is not the case, as the credits theme isn't looped. Misadventures in the West is also the first VHS/DVD to show screenshots of the episode titles during the credits, as opposed to showing them in plain text with a sketch of whoever's the focus of the episode.
