- The name "Suckers!" is a play on words with "sucker", which is used to describe a gullible person.
- Suckers! 3 was originally thought of by Gary Sauls when Are You There, Sauls? It's Me, Ed was nearing the end of its production, but since everybody at Chatterbox Productions wanted to start focusing on The Edward and Eric Movie, they had no choice but to briefly shelf it (although initially, it would have been permanent had it not been for Warner Bros. renewing the series for further seasons).
